Alcorn County ARES will be having it's monthy meeting at the Corinth Airport on Saturday April 13 @ 9am. A testing session will follow the meeting if you would like to earn you amateur radio license, or upgrade your current license.![]()
(You must have a FRN and 2 ID's before testing)
Technician class is still a go starting tomorrow night Monday the 22nd . If you are interested in the class and can't make it due to road conditions let me know and I'll try to throw in a a class later in the week.![]()

Just a reminder we will be hosting a technician class amature radio (ham radio) test prep. Course at the end of the month. Classes will be Monday nights jan. 22, Jan 29, and Feb 5 starting at 17:30 @ the EOC in the justice complex 2839 south Harper rd. Corinth ms. there will also be a Saturday session feb 3rd starting @ 09:00-till for those who need extra help or would like to take practice test. The class is free , we ask that you purchase your own copy of arrl test prep workbook (picture below) . Test will be given feb.10th @ 10:00 am @ roscoe turner Airport airport rd. Corinth ms. There will be a $35.00 license fee if you pass the test. ![]()
